the Forest
California has lost 90% of its kelp forests since 2014.

Guardian of the Kelp is our most ambitious initiative — a youth-led restoration program combining hands-on kelp out-planting, long-term ecological monitoring, and underwater documentation to bring California's kelp forests back to life.
