Mónika brings over 13 years of experience as a nurse practitioner — first in high-stakes surgical settings, then in aesthetic medicine across Los Angeles, where she treated everyday patients and celebrity clientele alike. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and the distinguished Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist credential. Her clinical foundation is rigorous, evidence-based, and deeply human.

For Mónika, the ocean is not just a place — it's a philosophy. She understands that the health of our skin, our bodies, and our planet are inseparable. Marine ecosystems produce ingredients that power some of the most effective skincare formulations in the world. Ocean pollution directly degrades the natural compounds that coastal communities have relied on for generations. For her, protecting the ocean is not separate from her medical mission — it is an extension of it.

A self-described lifelong learner, Mónika regularly attends local and international medical trainings and conferences — from Seoul to Los Angeles — staying at the frontier of aesthetic medicine, skin health science, and sustainable wellness. She brings everything she learns directly back to her patients and to the communities My Clean Ocean serves.

As Director of Wellness & Eco Health, Mónika leads our integration of eco-conscious, ocean-safe health and skincare products into My Clean Ocean's programs. She ensures that the products we use, recommend, and introduce to the youth we serve are not only clinically effective — but free from the harmful chemicals that end up in our oceans. She is also a key voice in our health and wellness education offerings, bringing medical credibility to our mission of whole-person, ocean-connected wellbeing.
