We accept boats in all conditions — running, non-running, and in need of significant repair. Even a non-operational boat can still generate funds through parts or salvage value.
If your boat sells for $500 or less, you can deduct up to $500. If it sells for more, your deduction equals the actual sale price. We provide IRS Form 1098-C documenting the sale.
Yes — completely free. We coordinate with licensed marine towing partners to collect your vessel at no cost throughout Southern California.
Depending on condition, it may be sold, auctioned, used for parts, or repurposed for our programs. 100% of net proceeds support My Clean Ocean's mission.
Having your title makes the process smoother, but we can often work with you even if the title is lost or registration has lapsed.
